FAQ

When will you start?

Tim’s first official day as Pastor is April 1, 2018, Resurrection Sunday. Don’t miss it! After that, he will begin systematically casting the vision, plans, and strategy of the new church. We will vote on a new name and train our people to do ministry according to the five purposes of the church. We will take spiritual gift inventories to get to know ourselves and each other, break up into teams, and get ready for our First Bridge Event and Grand Opening. There will be new information every week. Please plan on being with us!

I'm interested! But what if I miss a Sunday?

No problem. Audio or video recordings will be available online to help you catch up on what you missed! Click here.

When do I sign up?

ASAP! Recruitment is ongoing but training beings April 1st! Don’t hesitate. Don't procrastinate. Get in on the ground floor!

Can I recruit my friends? Do they have to be Christians?

By all means, recruit your friends. Actually, it would be great if people just investigating Christianity came to join us. Unchurched people are most welcome.

One of the goals of your church is to have multi-lingual congregations. How are you going to accomplish this?

We will have loving and caring small group shepherds who are fluent in languages such as Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, etc. so that people can grow in their mother tongue. We will also have simultaneous translation through the use of headsets during worship services. We will make the translator’s job much easier by preparing all of the English sermon materials one month ahead. We will also occasionally include multi-cultural worship expressions such as dance, art, music, or even learning a song in a different language. Of course, we will also have study guides in various languages as needed.
